Meet your English teacher Iru!

Hello! My name is Iru. Since I started my career in June 2017, I have worked with children aged 2 to 12 in diverse international settings, helping them develop confidence in English through engaging and interactive lessons. My approach to teaching is immersive and dynamic—I believe language learning should be practical, enjoyable, and meaningful. I incorporate drama, storytelling, and music into my lessons to bring concepts to life, allowing students to actively experiment with the language. Having acted in several musicals at university, I understand the power of rhythm, emotion, and role-playing in language learning. By blending these creative elements into my teaching, I ensure students stay engaged while developing real-world communication skills. I strive to make every lesson exciting and impactful, so my students can use English confidently in everyday situations.
